new forum coming

i know you've heard it before but now its on.



the only reason i havent switched over yet is i cant transfer the database...

so for all the people out there that are saying "no i dont wanna lose my threads". know that at any time of their choosing they could/will kill this forum and that would be it, nothing i can do.


or...

we can switch over to a new forum, thats ours, has WAY more features and STORAGE and we already paid for but arnt using. and 100% control of our content which may or may not make some money some day.




besides a few build threads n stuff there isnt nothing worth saving on this forum, copy n paste isnt that bad. i will start by adding the user list and the "active" forum sections. so with a quick copy n past you can continue posting in your favorite thread.




so now i would like some input from you folks, this has been BSAFORUM ver. 1.0


what did you like and what didnt you like?

what would you change?

what categorys would you want?

ect, ect.

there is a bunch of unused titles, i would like to be much simpler

i will have to make a whole new forum, and i dont see the reason to include a bunch of topics that arnt used. so i would like some idea's as to a simpler layout from you guys.

once the switch happens ill be locking this forum and moving it to a different addy, so life can continue as normal on the new board.

I posted my list

new accnts are now setup on the new forum.

please check your e-mail to activate your new accnt. please note that their is a temp pass word and you should reset it to one of your choosing, if any problems arise let me know here.


once that is done i will work on swapping over the threads one at a time, if your impatient please copy your own posts over or start a fresh thread.


i will leave this forum semi active for another week, but try to use the new forum as it will be less work for me in the end.
