CJ5 Disc Brake Upgrade

So this is a few upgrades it turns out.

Tore down the new axle and it has thicker shafts than my stockers. How cool is that?



Also got what looks like an almost brand new hub.



So far I've only had to buy a new master, brake lines and banjo bolts.



I may have to buy new inner bearings cause the disc brake ones are bigger and a retard installed them last.

Why the fuck would I need a breaker bar for the spindle nuts?

So everything is tore down, gotta dig the slotted rotors outta the shed. Time for food...

Yep no fresh grease on the inners...corroded...bastards ...

I have disc brakes

I had to enlarge the hole for the master cylinder push rod.

Still have to buy an adapter for the rear brake line and a set up a new brake light switch, but everything else is in and bolted right up.

Got all the old stuff off...well the sorta new stuff I recently installed...

The new brake lines are hella longer.







Need the adapter to fit that blue plugged port.
