So, there really aren't many good options for dirt-cheap fender flares. You can hope to find some online or at pull-a-part but even then you are spending money for a piece of plastic that you're going to break anyway. The only other option I've read about is garden edging and honestly, I don't dig it. So, working in collision repair can have its advantages as all the bumper covers we discard can be a great source of material. What, you didn't know Lexus made flares for Ford Rangers? Here we go:

More pics to come. With a heatgun this ABS plastic can be shaped how you need it and riveted on to the fenders. Best part is it's FREE and totally expendable. I guess we'll see how it turns out as this is purely a test. If anyone wants some covers to try this out with let me know. I have hundreds!
